How it works
Six stages from a copy you found to a copy that is gone.
You open the matter and you sign off each notice. We do the comparing, the drafting, the filing and the checking, and the invoice waits until the page no longer shows your photograph.
The stages
What happens, and who does it.
Two of the six are yours. Nothing moves past the fourth without your approval.
- 1
The matter is opened
You send the photograph and the pages, posts or listings that show it, or you start from a free search for the photo and pick from what it found. Either way a matter is opened and you get a private portal for it.
A search only proposes addresses. Nothing it finds goes any further unless you choose it.
You - 2
Each copy is compared
Each copy is opened and laid beside your original. We note whether it is the identical file, a crop, a resize or a filtered version, confirm who took the photo, check public dates, and weigh fair use. The result is recorded against each address before anything else can happen to it.
A lookalike that turns out to be a different photograph is marked and explained, not quietly dropped.
Us - 3
A price is fixed
Each page is priced from the published schedule and the figure is frozen the moment it is quoted. It cannot be changed afterwards by anyone, including us.
Three or more pages with the same host, account or seller in one matter take the batch reduction automatically.
Us - 4
You approve each page
You see the draft notice, the price and the comparison notes for each copy, and approve the ones you want filed. Anything you leave unapproved stays where it is.
The notice is made under penalty of perjury in your name and ours. That is why it is shown to you in full first.
You - 5
The notice is served
A copy on a website goes to the host’s designated agent on record. A post goes through the platform’s own copyright form, a listing through the marketplace’s report. Where the photo also shows in Google Images, a separate removal request goes to Google.
Every step lands in your portal on the day it happens, including a refusal or a silence.

We confirm it is down, then invoice
When a host or platform reports action, we open the page ourselves. Only once your photo is gone from it is an invoice raised, at the figure already agreed. The address is checked again after seven and thirty days.
If a counter-notice restores it, the invoice is voided, and anything already paid for that page is refunded without you asking.
Us
Before any notice
Three things are written into the matter first.
The software will not let a page be approved until each of them is on record for that page.
It is your photograph.
The same file, or your original cropped, resized or filtered. Anything short of identical is confirmed by a person who has looked at both. You took it, or act for whoever did.
Shown by the original file, its metadata, an earlier post, a registration, or a signed transfer from the photographer. It is not fair use.
Reasoned for that page, not for the matter as a whole. Where a use might be fair, we say so, decline it, and charge nothing.
Where notices go
Each copy has one place that can take it down.
- 1
A page on a website
The host’s designated agentThe company hosting the site, through the agent it has registered with the US Copyright Office. The person who runs the site is not the one we write to. - 2
A post or a profile
The platform’s copyright formThe platform’s own copyright form. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, X and TikTok each keep one, and each asks for the facts in its own order. - 3
A listing in a shop
The marketplace’s own reportThe marketplace’s intellectual-property report, aimed at the listing itself rather than the seller’s whole storefront. - 4
A result in Google Images
A removal request to GoogleA separate removal request to Google, made only where the copy also shows up in search. It delists the result; the page is a matter for its host.
The notice itself is the same six statutory parts wherever it goes. What a notice contains
After it comes down
Looked at again a week on, and a month on.
The day it goes
We open the page
A host saying it acted is not enough. The invoice is raised only when we have seen the page without your photograph.
Day 7
First re-check
Copies are sometimes put back, or uploaded again under a new address. If yours is back, you hear that day.
Day 30
Second re-check
The last scheduled look. After it, the page stays in your matter and you can ask for another check at any time.
If they answer
A counter-notice
The host may restore the copy after 10 to 14 business days. That page’s invoice is voided, and anything paid is refunded unasked.
Going further after a counter-notice is a legal decision.
