If a notice reached you
What you can do next.
We act for the person who owns the photograph, so we are not neutral. You are still owed a plain account of your options.
You may send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
It goes to the host or platform that took the material down, not to us. Unless the rights holder files a court action, the material may be put back after 10 to 14 business days.
A counter-notice is sworn, so take advice.
It includes consent to a federal court’s jurisdiction and to accepting service. We are not a law firm and cannot advise you on it; a lawyer can.
If you have a license, say so.
If you licensed the photograph from the photographer or an agency, reply with the details. We do not pursue a licensed use.
